Why are there so many campers in Modern Warfare 2?
I have played COD4 and COD5 for well over a year now (the only games that I have even picked up). There are not many campers in cod4 and 5, but why mw2?
I think the answer to your question can be answered simply using the word customized killstreaks. Killstreaks like chopper, ac130, and harrier, nuke, are all streaks that can have an enormous advantage on the opposing team. Since these killstreaks are much more powerful, they require more kills in a row thus leading people to camp it out and let the kills come to them rather than risking their streak by rushing or being in the open.
